Based on the replies since the inception of this thread, the top ten shows of all time...

  • 9 months later...

Now that the 2010 season is over, I'd like to ressurect this thread as I'm sure most of our lists have changed.

I would also like to remind you all of a request from the great Michael Boo that I think has merit. Not because shows before the theme era don't matter, because they definitely do, but it's so we know what the music was. If there was no theme, list the repertoire for those that may not know the show just by the corps and year.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I hope you don't mind mentioning it here.

<<Personal request, but many other would appreciate this if others obliged.

I have a list on my computer of all the finalist shows and I've got all the program book stuff I've written, so I can easily look these things up. Still, after many years of drum corps, years blend together, but show titles and repertoires instantly bring recognition.

My request is: Please, don't just list a corps and a year. List the corps and the year and include the show title and (if possible) the repertoire. That way, more people will know what shows are being discussed.>>

I'll update my list later today. I just wanted to bring this thread back out of oblivion.

Yeah I love cavaliers. I dunno why, but I am just immensely entertained whenever they are on the field. I try to put forth an effort to love other corps as much, but I just cant.
