Walter
Wow, that's different haha. I don't know if they always do that at quarters since I've never been to them but I've never heard of the scoring being announced like that. PSSST..hey...they've been doing it that way since 1972 !! nkogan
When are semifinalsWhen are Finals Can an open close corp make it into World Didn't SCV Cadets do this in MD in 2000? semis: http://www.dci.org/schedule/detail.cfm?eve...3b-9c0f37061184 finals: http://www.dci.org/schedule/detail.cfm?eve...74-4e91ec8dc8c2 and yes back in the day the top five over all scores of div 2/3 could perform at quarterfinals for div 1...then div 2/3 corps got better then div 1 corps and started making it into semis. some div 1 corps pitched a fit, and the rule changed that a div 2/3 corps could only perform in div 1 quarterfinals if they were going to perform as a div 1 corps the next year (rule went into effect in 2002). now that we have these classes and the schedule is DRASTICALLY different (anyone remember the DCI parade the day b4 opening ceremonies?), i highly doubt it will ever happen again. hope that helps you out

Corkie
What time is it in Indiana? I had thought I had heard that they had gone to Daylight Savings Time several years ago. http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...p;hl=Time+Zones
NVCadet
PSSST..hey...they've been doing it that way since 1972 !! ( ) They tried tweaking the system for a while. Score were withheld for the audience (and even the corps once) from 1986 through 1988.
