boacavietob
I just looked at the Cadets staff listing for the 2009 season and was surprised to see an Athletic Trainer listed. Its my future profession but wasn't aware that they were employed by corps. Do all corps use them? If so, I wonder if I could go on tour this summer to get all of my required hours. Penguin
From what I've witnessed, it's not uncommon for many corps to have at least one trainer on hand during the summer.
One Step
The trainer in my corps doubles as a brass tech. It seems to work pretty well, and he is super helpful to have around on tour.

And possibly get paid also! I sure would contact corps...as they saying goes...can't hurt to ask.

With the toll that marching takes on a person's body, it is a great idea to employ a trainer. Helps out A LOT! I don't know if all corps have them, but I know the Cadets usually do. Not sure how you would go about going on tour and getting required hours though.
lowend
Seems like I hear about more injuries annually from the Cadets than other corps too.
soccerguy315
lots of corps have trainers sometimes they are other staff members who double, but a lot of times they are just trainers.

MikeD
Maybe not an athletic trainer, but I know a lot of them are athletic supporters.
