So... If Each Corps Was A Car......

Recommended Posts

Brilliant thread. If I knew anything about cars, I'd contribute. Maybe I'll do one that compares Corps to baseball teams or something.

Mandarins are the ultimate Toyota Camry corps. While not the fastest, most stylish, biggest, or most comfortable car on the road, you can rest assured that a Toyota Camry will start strong, and get you to where you have to be with ultimate reliability, every single drive! Like the Mandarins, Toyota Camry's have a reputation of being built like a tank. No matter that the road throws at it, it always gets there. It usually won't come in first in a race (unless Kyle Busch is behind the wheel...heh heh...) but it is the epitome of the success story. Mandarins have established themselves as being great at what they do. So what DCI doesnt favor a different, smaller corps for competition? Mandarins have some of the longest-serving, most innovative designers and staff in the history of the activity, just like those who design and build the Camry:-)

I've always thought of the Phantom Regiment as a Rolls Royce and the Cavaliers as a Maserati.

I've always thought of the Phantom Regiment as a Rolls Royce and the Cavaliers as a Maserati.

But a Bentley gives that element of speed (somewhat). A Maserati is a little too flashy for the Cavies. I was thinking of something that is nimble and fast. Something that is no nonsense performance. The 911 was my only choice. Or you could just use Porsche in general. From the 365 (50's) to the 911 (60's). With the 912 and 914 in the seventies. It was not the best decade for Porsche or the Cavies. To the emergence of the Porsche supercars of the 90's.
