BRASSO
Since the inception of DCI, 3 Corps have won over 80% of the DCI Titles in these 35+ years......Blue Devils, The Cadets, The Cavaliers. Congratulations to these 3 Corps for continuing that standard of excellence again in San Antonio. 1) Blue Devils 2) Cavaliers 3) Cadets

DcFr3aK
I saw 21 elite corps tonight. Maybe not all of them have won a title in this activity, but they all performed really well for this stage in the game.

But this post was about the 3 Elite Corps of Blue Devils, Cavaliers and Cadets that collectively as a group performed in San Antonio as they generally have for over 35 years now. Dmiggles
Out of curiosity, who gave them the title of "elite? " I'm pretty sure they've earned that title so lets just leave that subject of trying to give reasons alone.
BRASSO
Out of curiosity, who gave them the title of "elite? " Me. My definition. " Elite " is based upon " Titles won ", the only yardstick we can reasonably use in a competitive endeavor such as Drum Corps. No other Corps have come close to winning as many titles as they have since DCI was formed. ( as said, over 80% of the Titles ) Trying to include any other Corps in " Elite Status " would be a disservice to what these 3 Corps have accomplished in these 35 + years, which is positively jawdropping good in competitive excellence.
