Guard-Dad
Yes. Sometimes they give our two or three at a time as they become available. Your son/daughter is in the Blue Devils guard? I'm a guard mom! My daughter is captain of VK's guard. Her boyfriend is a contra player in BD. He's aging out this year so we are all praying for a ring for BD!!!! My son is a first year BD Guard member, he's on the A-Corp (that's him over to the left) .. but BD is BD!!! Keeping my eye on BDB tonight!!! Edit: .. BTW .. I saw VK in Vista, I enjoyed their show!!! Musicman1084
Les Stentors 68.000Spirit of Newark/New Jersey 65.450 I almost hate to say it, but after seeing Les Stentors in Beverly earlier in the season, I honestly didn't think they'd even break 50 this season (although that was with them playing in a standstill, no drill yet). I'm glad to see they've improved so much over the course of the season!
Musicman1084
74.300 Racine Scouts 68.000 Les Stentors 65.450 Spirit of Newark/New Jersey 55.150 Blue Saints Great score from Racine. Haven't seen them score that high in a long time. Edit: And by a long time, of course I mean last year... didn't even remember that. We got that one time - I think it was Green Bay in 04? Not sure how that happens sometimes but it's a bit of a buzz when it does.
txorchdork013
Music City, then Dutch and Colt Cadets before the first break. Do it up right Dutch Boy! I wish I could see Music City's show. I have heard it is pretty traditional and has some high step. I miss seeing high step...LOL I really used to especially enjoy a drum major who could effectively high mark time and conduct. danieltenor
I believe the Michigan City provides all the corps with a police escort! My corps (Beatrix') also got an escort last year and I remember hearing every corps got that. It's great though, especially if you have to drive a little further and you don't want to have the risk getting stuck in a traffic jam!
