Lancerlady
Oh yeah, I did mention that I was glad that no one was hurt, does that count?
Lancerlady
OK, I think everyone needs to dial it back a notch. No, no one was physically injured by the storm, and for that we all can be grateful. However, I do think it's shortsighted to pretend that having to replace $3,000 worth of props -- and they do have to replace them, because without them there's an entire section of the field left open, and there's no doubt in my mind that their visual scores would suffer, as a result -- is not harming the corps. Any unforeseen expense of that magnitude is going to harm the corps. So making fun of the incident, and then dismissing it as being OK simply because you don't like the items that were destroyed, is, IMO, not having the generosity of spirit that I believe we should for anyone in this situation. Sue, with all due respect, I am not making fun of it. I said I didn't like the tables. That's the point of the matter, tripping me out.I am not wishing ill will on them or their show, I just said, I don't like the tables.
Lance
Closing this because we've asked nicely several times to keep personal problems out of this. Goodness. Watch for a new thread to open shortly.
