2009 DCI Open Class Finals

Can Can. Musically, this show is very strong. Not sure about the visual aspect, mainly because I'm so busy typing. Also could live without the recorded narration.

Horns and drums now trading off. Guard all on rifles and sabers. Nice silent drill/toss moment.

Trumpets are late on their entrance to Marriage of Figaro, could have led to ensemble issues, but they recovered.

Wonderful white iridescent flags as the horns form a company front playing America.

Horns collaplse into a tight block, then unwind it into an X formation to finish the show.

Great play-by-play, Kev. Any scores yet? Nothing on the DCI site.

Revolution does a pre-show. Lovely tuba sound. Better be, they've got 8 of them!

VERY difficult brass parts for Heat Of the Day. All played backfield. I hear some watered down stuff, though, but not much.
