DanjrusMcRynky
highest 5th place score ever, as well. edit: SORRY, highest FINALS 5th place score ever. mfrontz
Once every five years for Cadets. They went 1994-97 without winning and also 2001-04. So this year does not break a streak for them. Next year, if they do not win, it would. Edited August 9, 2009 by mfrontz
SomeOtherJoe
BD's Sanford trophy breaks a tie with SCV and pushes 'em into 1st in terms of drum trophies earned in DCI.
SomeOtherJoe
Also, the BD win extends and keeps alive their streak of winning at least 3 championships in each DCI decade.
MagicBobert
Most world champions ever fielded by an organization in a year (BD, over 280 performers).
Tez
Not really a record, but BD was just .025 points from pulling just the 3rd 3-peat in DCI history (and their first).

True, but BD winning last year would have changed a ton about this year.

The entire organization was only 0.075 away from doing this last year!
Tusayan
Also, the BD win extends and keeps alive their streak of winning at least 3 championships in each DCI decade. BD only won twice in the decade of the 80s: 82 and 86. Decades run from year 1 through year 0. Their win in 1980 counts as a win for the 70s.
