Jaminbenb
nah just someone who has liked wrestling since the days they held it at the Zembo Mosque I remember those...I worked for a dude when I was at the bank who was a wrestling freak. He used to get tickets for the matches at Hershey all of the time, great seats as well, a few times he had ringside and took me along...THAT was where I decided it was a total waste...you can see how much hey actually miss when you're that close! Heck, I could have stood between Hulk Hogan and the Iron Sheik and STILL not get hit!!! it was that bad! Did I ever tell you about the time my wife and I were in the Pizza Hut in Hershey, and Volkov came in? Dude it HUGE up close! He was also wearing a USMC shirt, shorts and hat! One heluva Russian HE was!!!

JimF-LowBari
Sister had a friend at HACC who worked usherette and other duties at Hershey Arena mid 1980s. She HATED WWF nights cuz she was about 5' 1' and 99 lbs soaking wet with rocks in her pockets. Someone (no idea if HERCO or WWF) had her escort the wrestlers to the ring to make them look bigger. She hated it because people would be spitting and throwing crap at them and once in a while she recognized the idiots.... (Think she lived in Hummlestown) Hey Ben, I remember seeing Roller Derby live at Hershey and Wildwood in the 70s. Live and without close up camera work you could see how half ###ed they track was constructed. Whole thing had the feel of a local carnival before the State shuts it down. I never had the pleasure! When I went to the wrestling, it was after they "cleaned it up" a bit which was right AFTER the stopped having it at the Farm show and Zembo. They did roller derby too, the security "chief" at the bank I used to work at was a big-whig at the Zembo as far as their "venue" was concerned. Said he met the guys from Kiss and Rush, and a few other bands that played there in the 70's, but he used to talk about knowing the wrestlers and roller derby girls personally. I hated the wrestling stuff after the first time I went, people are morons with that stuff, my ex-boss used to give me tickets, so it got me out of the house, but it got OLD really quick!
