Galen
Totals, through the next-to-last event With just one event remaining, we're narrowing down to a small handful of corps that have a shot to win the overall award. So far, Les Blanc Chevaliers and Glory of Polaris have clinched their respective divisions, and Les Blanc Chevaliers holds the overall lead. A win for them in their next event would clinch the overall award as well as the Open Class championship. Cross and Glory of Polaris still are mathematically in it, but it would take a tremendous collapse by the leaders to give them a shot. The one close race is in Class A, where 3 corps (Cross, Glory of Aurora and The Bolts) are still in the hunt. Cross has a 10 point lead and can clinch with a 6th place or higher finish in Open Class finals. So far, the sweepstakes events have been a good success. They've encouraged good competition and have motivated corps to show consistancy throughout the season. They've also shown that there is lots of parity in DCPI, based on the number of corps that have finished in the top 6 at Sweepstakes event. So far, 29 of the 42 competing world class corps have scored sweepstakes points, along with 27 of 37 open class corps and 25 of 26 A class corps. That translates to 77% of all corps competing in DCPI this season that have scored at least 1 sweepstakes point.
Craig III
It would appear you've misplaced Quiksilver on the most recent standings.

hostrauser
Two sweepstakes and a runner up, can't go wrong with that. I think the standings will be absolute chaos during the live season.
