84skyrydr
What is your corps average day of practice, show days and non show days and maybe even moveins and all days. What is a typical day like for YOUR corps? I remember putting in some insane numbers of hours on a show that had us doing mostly mirror image drill and elevator drmlines. I know we did many 12-16 hour days, and never did less than 4 on a show day. Any info????

84skyrydr
now is that 12-16 with food breaks included? Yes, two thirty minute food breaks. We always got a snack at the end of the day also. We ate pretty good.
ItsOnTheField
All-Days would typically be three 4 hours blocks for a total of 12. 45 minutes to 1 hour for meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) then snack at the end of the day before lights out. Show days would depend on performance time and amount of time to transit from rehearsal/housing to show site. Obviously, the corps would maximize as much time as allows. Rehearsal time could also be dependent on the distance of travel between sites during tour. The corps will always get between 6-8 hours of sleep (combination of bus and floor time). There are a lot of factors to take into consideration when determining rehearsal time.

doogiempt
You forgot the days where lunch was eschewed in favor of 15 minute fruit breaks Ah yes, those were the good days! Or in 2003 when we were housed with Cavies and instead of lunch afer the marching block we had donuts and cookies for a 10 minute break. And that was when Cavies were just getting up! My only real shot on the 2003 tour dvd was of me stuffing my face with a donut. Not exactly representative of the 2003 season, with zero free days and everybody losing 25 lbs
It's Godzilla!
Worst was 9 AM to 2:15 AM. 2 breaks, I believe. ...Not that it made much difference at the end of that day.
