So then you aren't very confident that DCI will give you the ok? Just wondering. I guess I would have waited a week to post a recruitment thread in the correct area. Kamarag
So then you aren't very confident that DCI will give you the ok? Just wondering.I guess I would have waited a week to post a recruitment thread in the correct area. I'm sorry Randy's use of pixels is putting you out. Besides, posting a thread about this week's camp in the forums next week would either be silly, or require folks to own a flux capacitor. audiodb
If you are going WORLD CLASS, why are you recruiting here? Teal Sound is in that transitional phase where they have been recommended for world-class status, but are awaiting the vote from DCI directors to approve the recommendation. Until then, it is appropriate (and poetic justice, IMO) for them to post in both the world-class and open-class forums.

Not to mention the level of professionalism the organization has by waiting until the official vote and final word has been made!
CitBos
If you are going WORLD CLASS, why are you recruiting here? So, are you saying that a World Class corps can't recruit at the Ope Class level, at all? You don't think there are people who have marched at the Open Class level for a couple of years that might want to move up to World Class? Richard
So, are you saying that a World Class corps can't recruit at the Ope Class level, at all? You don't think there are people who have marched at the Open Class level for a couple of years that might want to move up to World Class? What? This is a complete non sequitur and doesn't even make sense. Since when is the Open Class forum for Open Class members only and the World Class forum for World Class members only? The forums are separated for discussion of World Class corps versus discussion of Open Class corps. The "level" at which any users have marched, taught, volunteered or even observed is completely irrelevant. The point of contention in this thread is that Teal may or may not be a World Class corps next year. The ambiguity around their status is the reason why Randy has posted camp information in both forums.
