FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Los Angeles, CA (March 1, 2010) -- City Sound is thrilled to announce its DCI debut for the 2010 season. The drum and bugle corps will participate in DCI events throughout the summer. The corps will feature a full horn line, percussion section, and color guard. During the month of April, City Sound is accepting membership applications from qualified musicians. Simply email us at info@city-sound.org for a membership packet. That is why we have put together a top-quality program at the lowest possible prices.” For more information on City Sound, please contact Nathaniel Lewis at nlewis@city-sound.org or visit http://www.city-sound.org. # # # About City Sound City Sound Drum & Bugle Corps is a youth organization committed to shaping lives of character through the performing arts and music education. keymodf
The corps will feature a full horn line, percussion section, and color guard. Define full hornline. 56, 64, 80? I know of a few corps that have had a full hornline with 20.
CitBos
Define full hornline. 56, 64, 80? I know of a few corps that have had a full hornline with 20. Wouldn't a full hornline be just one person on each part (one 1st soprano, one 2nd soprano, one 3rd soprano, one mellophone (two if there's two parts), one first baritone, etc....)? But congrats and good luck to City Sound!

84BDsop
No they are playing Bb/F horns Are they new horns? New Gs from Ziggy are less expensive than new Bbs (presuming the Bbs are the top end).
see me
I believe they purchased only trumpets. I know VK plays on a full line of Kanstuls, unless they have changed.
