Jimbalaya
Very sad news indeed. He is now with Patti again. A true giant in the activity has left us. Our deepest and most sincere sympathy to the Bonfiglio family and his extended drum corps family............especially IC Reveries and 27th Lancers. GGarrett
A true gentleman. A drum corps visionary and activity changing personality. I just played a recording I have of the 1975 and 1981 27th Lancers shows. Fantastic. And two of several good examples of what George Bonfiglio contributed to drum corps over the years. To say George Bonfiglio didn't have much of an impact on Drum Corps would be like saying an iceberg didn't have much impact on the Titanic. Vaya con Dios, George. Bossop
As per Denise Bonfiglio, he passed away this evening peacefully at 6:27 pm EST. Sincere condolences from the Crusaders Senior Corps of Boston. When we play the Lancers' arrangement of Danny Boy at this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade, it will have a special meaning.
