To me, what separates good corps and great corps can often be the mello book and sound. Which corps is the forerunner in this category for the 2010 season?

It's possible to have the best mello line and not have the best mello book, and vise versa.

Just sayin'

It sure is possible, but that wasn't my question. So which corps has BOTH of all the possibilities? For example, Corps A may have a totally kick butt mello line but their book blows, and Corps B may have a ridiculous book but their line is struggling. PICK CORPS C that has the best of both worlds!

Blue Stars handsdown.

I saw them in Kalamazoo and they were smoking. Still need to clean some runs. But those mellos can sure belt them out. Reminds me of Star in 91.

I'm sure the dad of the Blue Star Mello will be very happy to see this (His names Kris I think?)

I haven't seen any show except for the Bluecoats show.

My vote was hands down for the Blue Stars as well. For me, it isn't just the runs, but the book in general. The dissonance at the beginning hit as well as at the hit towards the end of the show. I get chills every time. I cannot WAIT to see them in Edmond, OK and Denton, TX!
