WIS Posted April 17, 2011 Share Posted April 17, 2011 Crazy guess time......10th anniversary of 9/11 - open with New York, New York (where it happened), go into O What a Beautiful Morning (because it was), then into New York Minute (Don Henly) - because everything changed in a New York Minute - then wrap up with You'll Never Walk Alone. That would have me crying and throwing babies. Not sure that works into the New, beautiful, borrowed theme - but when NYMinute came on my iPod the other day I thought how fast everything in our world changed in that New York Minute. Didn't an earlier post say a song that hadn't been done before? I've been out of drum corps for a very long time - did anyone do New York Minute before? I don't know if that song would translate very well to Drum Corps though. But then again, with Smith as arranger, just about anything could work.
