Renegades

Recommended Posts

It's been since July since we've heard from the coast.

I'm hoping "evil" without hype equals a big surprise :) :lookaround:

What's going down on Planet Cali? (can't wait to see/hear the show)

This weekend we got our "kids" back from DCI (couple of Blue Devils, an SCV, a Mandarin and a Bluecoat) and they helped us fill out our remaining horn spots, AND they all learned the complete show this past weekend as well. Our drum corps, as of Saturday, officially became full.

We had a great weekend of learning and cleaning, througout the course of the weekend we managed 5 full run thrus each of which was better than the last. One more weekend of cleaning, with our Family Day performance, and then it's Rochester bound!

Hey there stranger!!

Que Paso? I am seriously looking forward to seeing you guys in Rochester. Are you guys having a mini corps, or just selected I & E type gigs in Rochester..

Rumor has it you are coming back to the DoubleTree..care to clarify? If so, I owe you at LEAST one beverage of your choice. :lookaround:

Then there is sure to be a reunion of sorts. Jarrett, BDs trumpet soloist, will be performing with the Bridgemen at Ra-cha-cha. We're staying at the DoubleTree as well. With Renegades, Bridgemen and Minnesota Brass there's gonna be a LOT of Drum Corps stuff goin' on. These DCI people are gonna get spoiled, they get to sleep in a bed instead of gym floors. We're having an influx of people from some DCI Corps as well. It'll be great getting reacquainted with both Chris's (Nalls & Clavejo), Tiffany, Wolverine, Munson, Greg, Dave, Doug, Larry and the rest of you guys. See ya in a few days.

We are playing come to Jesus in whole notes and the theme to Frogger. enough said 7

Dreitzer always threatened to arrange "Come To Jesus" in whole notes for the Skyliners back in the 60s whenever he and Lefty Mayer had an argument of what the show tunes should be. We never played it so obviously Dreitzer won.
