wheelerand
feedback. too loud. organ and singing covered up backfield brass playing before the company front Yeah, it felt like that happened at three different points - two high ones and one low one. texascv1
I hear you, but I'm not sure what a theme has got to do with where a Corps is located. When you think of Chicago, do you think of the Samurai with swords walking down the street ? so Madison doing music about New York is bad too, I guess. Schickmeister
Can they get this clean? That's the big question mark on this show. They are so far ahead of where they normally are in the cleanliness realm its not even funny. I'm SURE they can clean it.
GeneralTsoChicken
Can they get this clean? That's the big question mark on this show. Yes, but not everything. You can win and be dirty... ala 98 Cadets, 01 Cavaliers

mobrien
I hear you, but I'm not sure what a theme has got to do with where a Corps is located. When you think of Chicago, do you think of the Samurai with swords walking down the street ? Had they not embraced the whole "Japanese" concept with instrumentation, costuming, and visual choices, it wouldn't have worked for Rosemont either. But they did, and it did. BK is playing music designed to evoke a certain culture, but at this point, not really bringing the rest of the culture into the picture. As such, it feels underthought (imho, of course). crackle
except with Madison, you can really feel the theme through the music.
