BIG BARI 3
Dear Star United: If you want to sound like the Boston Pops on the 4th of July, the howitzers are really important to have! Please make a note of it! Oh yah, HOLY S..T! The arrangement was awesome and your execution flawless! Cannot wait to see what you can do to top this one!

pmaustin
Me to. How would you follow one of the most recognizable and popular pieces of classical music? Michael, That one's easy. Star should do their 2012 show on Rick Astley's Greatest Hits! I can hear it now - Never Gonna Give You Up..... Trust me, it would be great Once again, Congrats on an incredible performance in Rochester!
Roger Grupp
Seriously, I played the whole 1812 just a month ago, and when I heard the shortened Start U version, it seemed like they played everything. What a great arrangement. What a wonderful organization. It's a pleasure to listen to them. And they work harder and smarter than any other group. Roger, I heard some serious cuts. Some major sections were reduced to small snippets. But, at their level of expertise, it worked well. A dozen years ago, CorpsVets contras won DCA I&E with a mini version. I purchased the chart from Tom Carr, and brought it in at well under 3 minutes. Nobody wants to wait a quarter-hour for the fireworks !!!
Fran Haring
How would you follow one of the most recognizable and popular pieces of classical music? With another one, hopefully? The only thing missing from your "1812" was the cannons. But I'm guessing there might have been some sort of ordinance against indoor use of large guns.
