MotorCityMusician
@SchickADVPhantom should be 4th behind Cadets. #imahomer #DCI @meeganstrangeHoly crap. #phantomregiment #dci #loveit EARLIER TWEETS @SchickADVSprits drumline entertaining as hell. #DCI l @SchickADVStrong showing from Spirit. Narration a bit contrived. Fun show though. #DCI @loudbrassGreat program. Bras crapped out on the ending. Fix that ASAP. Easily best Spirit corps since maybe 86/87. #dci @loudbrassPoker Face as a ballad really works well. #dci @loudbrassClassic old school Spirit battery grooves. Love it. #dci @SchickADVSpirit wins GE with the showgirl. #DCI #tourgoggles

legacy
Doing two nights keeps the suspense up for championships, or at least I think it does. Usedcto be two nights 15 corps a night.... but i digress
MotorCityMusician
\@Squirt185Incredible show tonight phantom!!! #DCI @PhantomRegiment @loudbrassGood brass sound. Not as mature or round as Phantom though. Much more interesting visually. Brass and battery contribute more than PR. #dci @loudbrassOperated by remote. That's the key. Every corps needs to follow that.#dci @SchickADV@Bluecoats coming out with some fire tonight. #DCI @SchickADVBluecoats narration is awkward. #truestory #DCI
Fred Windish
Allentown has always been a 2-day event. In the early years, there were 2 days of Prelims and one evening of Finals. As many as 56 corps participated. Prelims sometimes required 7:45am - 4:30pm, per day. On Saturday, gates opened for Finals 90 minutes after Prelims that day. It was wild! Now, there are 2 "Finals," each requiring a ticket. No more morning or afternoon performances. The corps with highest score over the two day event is considered the winning corps. Trivia: For the first Allentown DCI event, tickets to Prelims were $3 each. Good BOTH days! Finals tickets $7, 6, and 5! (gasoline was about 40 cents per gallon, and a good hotel room about $50) Enjoy, all!
MotorCityMusician
@PeigeyThe announcer asked the blue coats drum major if their corps was ready and someone from the audience yelled THEY WERE BORN READY! #DCI @joshterry93just found my other roommate, marching bluecoats this summer...we are gonna be blasting dci show music 24/7!!! #heaven @loudbrassFantastic percussion section Complements brass so well. Only gripe so far: program doesn't grab me other than for technical reasons.#dci @SchickADV@Bluecoats drumline is so #### entertaining to watch. #DCI @zachschlicherDCI East #
