THeShadeOfNight Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Really great work from them it seems. Love that they put up a video of that, but I have to comment on them playing Swing, Swing, Swing. That first part with the trumpet stabs...so evident they haven't done that part much. I think I can speak for everyone when I say there have been times we've all gotten a new piece/change and were asked to memorize and play it with zero rehearsal. Great music, great arrangements. I can't wait to see the finished show. Dan Detweiler Posted June 12, 2013 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Keep in mind that this performance is more of a thank you to the community for putting up with several weeks of practice in their back yard, so I am sure they threw Swing, Swing, Swing in there last minute as a crowd pleaser. I have never been much of a Cadet fan, but this is a pretty cool thing they do each year for their community (or the community they rehearse in).
