Dave Scott
The Belleville Black Knights always had great uniforms. Here's one from 1961. Note the correct position of the shako. Not over the ears like many of today's corps. Edited August 20, 2014 by Dave Scott
Eleran
Note the correct position of the shako. Perhaps, but the emblem on the shako is crooked. Edited August 20, 2014 by Eleran
chasgroh
Perhaps, but the emblem on the shako is crooked. ...and THAT, comrades, is a tenth of a point taken off your total score...*before* you take a step onto the field! Ah, inspection, didn't we love it!

quietcity
Perhaps, but the emblem on the shako is crooked. Well, that was from their show called "Tilt."
chasgroh
Yes. I had to give "props" to my original "homies." Weren't Rielly similar to Pioneer and early Hurricanes? Not sure about Ballantine. They look similar but the picture I saw is too small to get a good read on it. I do know these (Rockets) came from West Germany. OK, I can't find a "host" for a pic (gotta develop the method, I suppose) but here's a link to my Google+ page and you can see the Reilly look, Jeff. Pio is way cool and, yes, more along the lines of Hurricanes olde lids...Reilly's are just, ah, different! https://plus.google.com/+CharlieGroh/posts?partnerid=gplp0 Edited August 20, 2014 by chasgroh
