kevingamin
Next on the field is the Govenaires from Saint Peter, Minnesota. Their 2014 program is entitled "Passion". Also, the DCA Fan Network live feed is up and running. The issue was out of DCA's control, unfortunately. We're expecting an official statement from Carrie Nelson, DCA's PR director, soon. kevingamin
John Mayer is doing the most popular introduction of a drum corps on the planet.
kevingamin
Govies just made 12 horns sound like 24! Huge opening statement! Lovely trumpet soloist to open Man of La Mancha.
kevingamin
Now it's a duet between the trumpet and a flugel. Rest of the horns pick up on the chorus. "I am I, Don Quixote! The Lord of La Mancha!"
kevingamin
Pit interlude while the guard claps. Guard is in killer red and brown uniforms befitting the show theme. Tempo kicks up a little as we restate the chorus.
kevingamin
La Mancha finishes with a drum feature. Snares, then tenors do their thing before the full line plays.
Kamarag
Now that the feed is up. I'm actually liking the multi-cam mix. It's lots of high cam with the occasional medium shot.
kevingamin
Upper and middle brass come in after the drum feature, joined by the low brass. Brass line is doing more than a little crab stepping during this show. Low brass on their knees for a feature of their own.
