xandandl Posted December 6, 2014 Share Posted December 6, 2014 As today (12/6) is the Feast of St. Nicholas, euponymous patron for Santa Claus, it seems an appropriate time to begin the Christmas wish list for one's favorite or other drum corps and drum corps personalities. In parts of the world, children place their shoes outside their doors in anticipation of the shoes being filled with treats. While remaining good boys and girls who are clever in our gift giving, what would be imagined that Santa might bring to fill the stockings, dinkles and vipers of our member corps around the tree in the DCI hearth? He says he likes to zag when on others zig, so since "everyone" has dropped side stripes and now wears facial hair, this would be unique. Besides Movember is over and he'd be able to get about without the hoards mobbing him for autographs. To the Boston Crusaders and the Phantom Regiment, please bring a double dose of good humor and laughter. Their posters and I don't always vibe. To several corps, please bring a new color wheel since Blue has become so ordinarily common place (Saints and Devils, Starry Knights, Coats, etc., etc., etc.) To the Madison Scouts, please bring the momentum to build on the Macy's success for a great summer season. 2b con'td. . 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Blue Knights might like 59 more seconds to match their 1 they already have. Crossmen might like a place to stay after 2014, instead of having to travel around in caravans. The Cadets might like a lime green or hot pink cummerbund to go with their already schnazzzy ones from 2014. But seriously, for all, the best season ever in 2015!!!
