tesmusic
I was reading Mr. Smith's bio on the Troopers website and it listed The Cadets as a corps he has written for. Does anyone know when? Edited December 14, 2014 by tesmusic

HornTeacher
Vanguard Cadets also performed his "Inferno." In the past. Maybe it's just a case of name-association confusion.
xandandl
Don't go there, H.T. Opening that contrast is quite the pandora's box in this season of "Peace on Earth, Good Will to All."

BUT...I really meant no disrespect or controversy in my answer. I was just attempting to solve a riddle. seen-it-all
I can't be 100% certain, but I thought it was Michael Klesch who wrote the original 1989 Cadets show, but Smith came in to do rewrites. (or the other way around perhaps??) Edited December 18, 2014 by seen-it-all

They did his entire score for the Divine Comedy in 2007. Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso. Show was named Ascension.
