I agree, although a show that includes both a selection from Scheherazade and an ending in which a female guard member emerges from a hole in the middle of a tarp while holding a rectangular object does seem awfully familiar, like another show I just saw last year, maybe . . . hmm, what could that be? Brigand Posted September 7, 2015 Share Posted September 7, 2015 I'd be curious to know whether Bruckner8's theory of "competitive inertia" (which holds that when DCI competition is very close, the judges will favor the proven winner), one of whose predictions is that no corps can win it all in DCI without first medaling (which is true in every year except 1972, the first year), also applies to DCA. Has a DCA corps ever won the championship (after 1965) without first placing third or better? Cadets2 are no longer capable of disproving Bruckner8's theory of competitive inertia, which apparently holds true for DCA as well as DCI.
