Brigand Posted August 7, 2016 Share Posted August 7, 2016 I had three guests with me at the show: one had never seen drum corps before, and the other two who had not done so for many years (although one of them was in the Cleveland Caballeros and then the Bluecoats in the 1970s). It was gratifying, as it usually is, to be able to impress them before the scores were announced by correctly predicting all the placements, and what's more, to say, "and it will be very close between first and second". Brigand Posted August 7, 2016 Share Posted August 7, 2016 With all due respect to Stentors, their score tonight, 52.075, is proof that scores between shows, and especially between dates, don't mean much. If they were competing against the Heat Wave who scored 52.300 a week ago in Atlanta, the spread between the two corps would be 5 points at the very minimum, and probably closer to 10 points.
