When they came out onto the field Friday night in the Oil Can you could feel the tension, but when they came out on Saturday night it was all love and respect and anticipation. Honorable mention was Garfield's 3-pete win, Crown's winning Saturday night performance, and SCV's 1988 Phantom of the Opera. As far as boo-ing is concerned, the last time I heard that significant negative reaction was the last time there was a tie on Saturday night. I remember that night Was on the south side of stadium just watching taking it all in. My wife, who had left the show after SCV played, could hear the noise clearly from the dorms.
