cixelsyd
One more DCI strategic initiative: C.3. Pursue governance excellence. The Governance Committee did secure and work with outsourced governance expertise in mid-FY 2018 to audit DCI's current board policies, procedures and practices against best practices of exceptional boards and made recommendations for board approval of needed changes to be instituted in early FY 2019. This one must already have taken place. What was it? Is it good?
N.E. Brigand
Is this about the makeup of the board of directors? Isn't DCI's chair now someone who isn't a corps director?

Long reputation of being able to hold many cat leashes in her hands at one time - perfect for DCI's structure. I haven't heard any bad stuff. Her holding that position is surely evidence that the voting membership are willing to trust someone who they can count on to keep their interests first in her guidance of the board's direction in view of the realities of today's governance requirements. Governance excellence? Yah, maybe. Edited October 5, 2019 by garfield
