Missile-like objects?

Recommended Posts

It cracks me up every time I hear it. But now I want to unravel this enigma. How/when did this rule start? What constitutes a missile-like object? Has anyone here ever brought something that was not allowed for a ridiculous reason? I need answers.

For several years, the food vendors at LOS Finals removed caps from bottled drinks because NFL fans were chunking them at the refs or opposing teams. I guess they thought we were just as rabid.
