I remember one......1972....we were heading from Chicago (Legion Nationals) to Minneapolis for VFW Nationals (both were after the first ever DCI)....we got to the toll booth just past Rockford and there we saw the front of a Bleu Raeder's bus impaled into the back of another Bleu Raeder's bus....... And it must have been a big letdown to them....they had made finals at both DCI and Legion Nationals...but apparently, probably because of the accident, to not go to VFW Nationals Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
