camel lips Posted August 9, 2004 Author Share Posted August 9, 2004 Did anyone catch the National Anthem with Al Chez playing lead SOP? my bad. used a old G bugle ( 2 valve ) for the first time in 19 years. -this is what the marines play on. had about 10 minutes to fool with it before the performance. did my best. had fun anyway . Did you get to hear the anthem at Jacksonville, Hunter and the guys did a brilliant job. I am sure Chez did too. It was great to meet you the other night (I was the TV guy standing with Dennis right before the rehearsal with the Marines). A few missed notes but I'd like to hear some of the guys on hear after not playing a G bugle for nearly 20 years!!!! I enjoyed and thanks for doing that!!!! By the way could you say hi to Dave Letterman for the Dutch Boy Drum Corps from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Paul knows where Kitchener is, I think!!!!
