What hornlines played right "in the pocket" and swung hard to you? A few that come to mind are: BD 81? 89 You gotta try-Nestico BD 86 The one that really sticks out in my mind is Madison 82-Waltz of the mushroom hunters. There is a part half way through the tune where its just the horn line and a snare. Its all in the dynamics and the feel. It was awesome, it only lasts for about 10 -15 seconds. Suncoast sound could swing. Crossmen- Land of make believe (good groove) Any others? I'm going to go back and listen for more groups.
