Fav Color Guard

My favorite guard has to be the Cavaliers........ooooopppps :P .....I mean the 27th Lancers.  In all truth,  the 27th Lancers colorguard was the best of the best of the best.  When I marched,  everyone looked up to them and copied their work.  I thought they where the best thing since the peanut butter and jelly sangwich.

There were alot of memorable colorguards back in the day.  27th, our colorguard, Phantom(which I loved).  The colorguard that got me interested in rifle and flag was the Kingsmen.  I watched the 72 show on 16mm tape, and was just stunned at the power of the rifle line.  My first guard instructor was Renee who marched in the kingsmen colorguard.  Linda M(cannot remember the spelling of her name) was my second guard instructor also marched in Kingsmen.  So they were my direct influence.  My high school band director was also a Kingsmen alumni, don't remember the year he marched.

Thank you!! Linda was soooooo #### good at what she did. One of the best instructors I ever had, as was Rene. Rene turned a run of the mill high school colorguard into a total powerhouse.

I had so many ex Kingsman instructors in my life that I feel like a ex Kingman!
