OH...you're bringing tears of joy to my eyes! Thank you so much!:rolleyes: So do you have any pit level from 86...say while the mellophone quartet was playing? Lol..(I was in that)

That looks like us going into Danny Boy! Heck we changed our show so much I don't know how I can tell! We probably changed it after that. I think that's why we didn't make it into finals..so many changes that last week in our drill.

It's actually a re-wrap I did last year on a beat-to-hell chrome TDR. I'd never worked with actual copper for re-wrapping, so did it as an experiment, more than anything.

I suppose re-chroming and adding the standing man decal on the front is too much to ask......

Hate to say it, but the standing man decal on the drums always struck me as kinda ghetto (before my time, so I'm allowed). :P

But if you want to see something that should REALLY make your hair stand on end, consider the fate of the corps' late 60s Dynasonics. Not just passed on to the Grimeys, but 'improved' with decals of the Little Green Sprout, or whatever his name was.

Each of those snares, if kept in good condition, would be worth $600-700 in today's market, maybe more considering the Cavaliers connection. Oy....

As I think of it, the smallest snare drummer at the far right hand corner in the front row of the picture is Mark Baker, who can also be seen in the previous '81 Cavaliers pictures in the middle of the snare line. Not sure, but I think he spent a total of 11 years (?) in the org, aging out in '85.
