jcn8
1. Cadets -- Absolutely incredible. The ballad was sheer perfection. 2. Phantom -- HUGE improvements in visual program, great hornline, and kudos to percussion line! Definitely the total package for Phantom this year. Should have been 2nd place. 3. Bluecoats -- I was pulling for 4th place, but still a great finish for a great show. 4. Crown -- Wow is this corps moving in the right direction. Great show. 5. Boston -- Beautiful show. IMO, there's no way this show should have finished below SCV.

mobrien
In order Cavies (despite a weak opener, the rest of the show cooked) Cadets (despite the 'theme' being a red herring) PR (first 'modern' show from them in years) Bluecoats (best use of amplified voice - at least it made musical sense within their book) Glassmen (the arrangements really DID something new with standard material) Special shout out to East Coast Jazz. They had horn charts any Div 1 corps would be lucky to play.

WWonka
1. Phantom Regiment - Just a #### fine show. 2. Madison Scouts - SCREAMING 3. Troopers (Rocking with the G sound. Impressive and fun to see you guys coming back) 4. Impulse - FUN 5. Spartans - QUALITY through and through. Honorable Mention: Glassman, Crossman, Boston and OC. OC will be contender sooner than a lot of people think. Saw 23 different shows in 12 days(4 locations). 5 worst things: 1. Cadets - didn't like the show. Just personal opinion. Disliked even more the next couple of times I saw it. Felt like I was at BOA. 2. Cascades - Gag the mic dude. 3. Coats - Great show ruined by mics. 4. BD - We got it without the narration for idiots. (See a trend here? ) 5. Div II and III dieing. Honorable Mention: Revolution - GREAT job of coming back. Just didn't like the music selection. It's a judges show. So syncopated(spelling?) and you never let the horn line just open up and play. Edited August 16, 2005 by WWonka
