ContraRich77 Posted September 7, 2005 Share Posted September 7, 2005 I was looking over the scores and placements, and looking at all the totally decent corps that didn't make top 10 and therefore were denied opportunity to perform Sunday night. Considering just how far DCA has come in the past few years and how all the corps have developed and grown, hasn't the time come to expand Finals to include a top 12?? I think having the Class A groups perform on Finals night helps keep our activity focused on growth of the smaller corps. There were so many corps this year at prelims. I believe it was one of the biggest DCA shows ever. Top 12 and the top 3 Class A corps would be perfect. Jeff Ream Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 10 out of 16 open class getting in is a good number. any more than that, and you're the NHL where everyone makes playoffs. if anything needs to be expanded, it's Class A. if it's going to stay at 10 or more, at least give em 5. or submit a rules proposal.
