An Article about DCA corps

sorry Sam... I thought you were being sarcastic - no foul no harm

it was a very good article... They had contacted me and I steered them to a couple of people I thought would be interesting... the article is no slight to junior corps... it's just the angle they were interested in at the time...

including the "senior citizen" - Mr. Kenny Peterson

and Tom Meek (no "S")... and Tom's point that Di got him into drum corps is absolutely correct. She was out of the Barnard Blue Devils... now THAT is a name from the past.

However, although Di got him interested in drum corps, it was I who checked out a Crusader horn in September of 1966 and the two of us went into the bathroom of his apartment (in a fruitless effort to spare the neighbors) and I gave him his first lessons... 1967 was his first season marching and he has marched competitively every season since... I believe that's 39 seasons...

how many can match that?
