newterak
i call it fuzzy. agreed, i'm all for these deep, rich, dark full textures, things that we've turned into modern cliches but it sounds like some of these hornlines bathe their articulations in chocolate along with their texture. BennyASU
Cadets...i just love their low brass sound overall and i thought the impact points in the show were fantastic. honorable mention to the Bluecoats who put out what i believe to be their best line ever. Cavies and PR were as solid as you would expect too.

Maestro767
1. Phantom 2. Bluecoats 3. Cavies I agree with whoever said it - cadets have that tinny sound at times, which my ears can't stand. Must be a Gino thing, I heard it a few times in SCV 04 too (first loud chord after the ballad comes to mind). Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the level of performance the Cadets were able to achieve, and I love the overall SCV 04 package. But that tinny sound just irks me.
