Brent
A very large corporation will be launching their new company in Downtown Minneapolis on Saturday October 22 and Minne-Brass will be performing for 10,000 people in the Minneapolis Convention Center. All information is top secret until the launch, but this will be a company that is quite significant in the landscape of Corporate Headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. We look forward to entertaining the crowds with our DCA Championship Ensemble. Minne-Brass will follow the new company launch with an exhibition at the first ever Minnesota State Marching Band Championships in the HHH Metrodome. www.youthinmusic.org
ContraRich77
Way to go Brass!! Those corporate gigs can be tedious and patience challenging though, so be forewarned........ Anyway, have fun!

Brent
CONGRADS! Welcome to the corporate gig world... as Rich said above. We have been doing corporate gigs for a couple of years now. We were just in stealth mode. How do you think we received so much talent for our MinneBrass? We love performing for big crowds. This one will be 6,300. 2 large convention halls, a built in life size bridge, a full size basketball court, Timberwolves cheerleaders, the works. create peace, Brent

They have just become independent of American Express. But this is really no secret. Minneapolis/St.Paul now becomes the #4 largest collection of Fortune 500 headquarters in the US, just ahead of Los Angeles. Good work Brent! I guess the "Inc." in MBI is justified and in good company.
Brent
Every person in the joint will have to pass by Minne-Brass, as they have staged us at the doors to the 300,000 square foot stage that Barton G. companies have constructed for the Ameriprise new company launch. They have recreated Minneapolis AND St. Paul in the Convention Center. It is UNBELIEVABLE! Real size basketball courts WITH stands, a 300 foot bridge that is 20 foot tall, a wooded park with real trees, grass and pavers, wandering street musicians, a real marching band, and everything. WOW!

Todd Tanji
Just got back from the gigs. Thanks Brent for setting these up. A couple of GREAT performance opportunities for Minne-Brass coming at a time when the drum corps season is usually pretty light. For the Ameriprize gig we played for 55 minutes. We learned 4 new tunes for this gig, all in the jazz style. We opened up all the tunes for extended solo sections and featured a lot of improv with new soloists including Tina Cavitt, John Ebert, Chris Ebert, Scott Snyder, Jackie Bechtold, Lee Portz and Mark Santori. All of them were FABULOUS! We played for a rockin' crowd at the Metrodome and blew a hole in the teflon roof! We even did an encore: Count on the Blues, an original composition by our own Andy Classen. The crowd didn't know what hit 'em. This is getting good ... REAL good. This was the best we've ever played. I'm so proud of the musicians in this group. Everyone is downright HUNGRY. Keep the gigs comin', Brent!
