Clarification of changes.

This entire situation is getting blown out of proportion. Some are assuming that only announcements can be made in the newly created Senior (DCA) Corps Announcement Forums.

This is not the case. If you read the pinned thread, it explains exactly how the forum is formatted:

All Senior Corps announcements and discussion relating to those announcements are to be done here.

The Clubhouses are going bye-bye, but not until there is ample time for corps members to copy/paste any announcements they feel neccessary to the Senior (DCA) Corps Announcement Forums.

In the end you have this:

A forum for members that want to read announcements, but don't want to sift thru countless general threads to do so, and:

A forum for members that want to read and reply to general banter without sifting thru announcements.

All in all, it addresses the needs for ALL members.

Has DCP ever considered discussing with the USERS and the DONORS of DCP any changes to the site the, in some part, own? Or, when someone (a donor -albeit not a big one, but a donor just the same) complains about a change, is it acceptable to be told "If you don't like it, leave. You won't see me loosing any sleep over it". by a "moderator" *using the term very loosely*

Just wondering.

Input is always accepted Lisa, but no, the users do not have to be consulted for any changes.

And, when said moderator receives 2 PMs from a user blasting him and basically being inconsiderate, you can believe that moderator might be a touch short with said user, donor or not.

That depends if that's an announcement, or a statement. :P

If that type of response was indeed used, it IS NOT condoned in anyway, shape, or form.
