boswell666
Where's Maynard Fergusen?Chuck Mangione? Doc Severensen? Maynard Ferguson he's from Montreal Québec, I dont think that he ever march drum corps !!!! They only thing he did it's the DCI finals show in they early '80. But, Benoit Glazer a good friend of mine march with Les Eclipses from 81/86 (soprano and drum major) he's now the music conductor and the trumpet player for Le Cirque du Soleil ''La Nouba'' in Orlando Florida La Nouba Music from the permanent show in Downtown Disney West Side at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, which opened in December 1998. Features urban sounds, hip-hop and electronica blended with the classic sound of Cirque du Soleil. Music composed by Benoit Jutras. A first for Cirque du Soleil, the score features a trumpet, giving a traditional feel while creating a link with the rest of the soundtrack, which employs a lot of synthesizers. A dozen tracks offer a musical fusion driven by unique, sublime vocals backed by a full band.

apoch003
Huh...weird. I could have sworn that Fergusen marched a corps. But all it says on the net is that he's played concerts with corps.
ffernbus3
Nickname: Waynard. Source of nickname: working with Maynard. That's Wayne, btw, playing the solo trumpet part during "Final Jeapordy" five or six times a week. To get a list of Wayne's playing credits and some good photos..... http://www.waynebergeron.com If you haven't heard his work on his solo CD: "You Call This A Living?", I can only suggest you find this. Also you should be listening to Gordon Goodwin' Big Phat Band: http://www.gordongoodwin.com RON HOUSLEY Edited February 17, 2006 by ffernbus3
