I am proud to announce the formation of the Derby City Knights, a new drum and bugle corps based in Louisville, KY. The Derby City Knights will begin rehearsals in November 2006. We will compete for the first time in the summer of 2007 in the Drum Corps Associates Class A Division. The goals of this corps is to "push the envelope" of the drum corps activity, to develop musical excellence among its members, and to motivate and challenge each member to attain their personal best, and then reach beyond. B) Matt is a contra player that we converted over to mello with MCL in '05 but since he did march the entire year on mellophone I guess that officially makes him a mello player.
