PR_ducky
The Vault is considered to be the door to be unlocking the old set Drum corps. I'm guessing before 1993 or so? Can't be sure. Don't know why they would say they are announcing the big twist yesterday and they didn't... Kind of irritating. Oh well. Patience IS a virtue, isn't it? ok, great, but what does that have to do with the olympics or engaging the voters? As far as no twist yesterday, I think the last person out was supposed to open the vault and forgot LOL

MagicBobert
Only some of the theater's are equipped with the technology to recieve the live video feed. If the theater does not have the equipment then they cannot recieve the live feed. It is usually the nicest regal in every town. That would make sense for the quarterfinals broadcast, but I'm pretty sure the Classic Countdown is put together ahead of time.

True it is put togethor ahead of time, but every theater doesn't have their own copy of the Classic Countdown. It is one digital copy that is then sent live to every theater using the same technology as the quarterfinals, the only difference is that it is a pre-recorded show that they simulcast throughout the theaters. mgailp
This is where we get the "hurry up and wait" mentality from isn't it? Tease with a surprise and leave us hanging... And I thought that was all the times running for the chow line.
thelittleman
Well I just got this email from DCI. The DCI Vault opens Friday at noonIt’s March. Audition camps and the holidays passed quickly, winter camps are in full swing, and while the drum corps season is less than three months away, we’re all in need of a blast of full-blown August drum corps. Lucky for us, it’s time for the 2006 DCI Classic Countdown. As the production crew gathered elements from the DCI archive for this year’s program, they were reminded again how cool this thing we call “drum corps” is. To go along with this theme, DCI has decided in the weeks leading up to the 2006 Classic Countdown on April 27, to share some of the really cool things found in the vault. DCI Vault trivia challenge The DCI Vault trivia challenge is a new, limited edition weekly contest to test your knowledge of all things Drum Corps International. Answers to the questions are readily available by searching through the contents of DCI.org. Questions will remain online at DCI.org/cinema from noon on Friday, until 5 p.m. the following Thursday. Participants may enter only once each week per e-mail address. Fans who correctly answer the weekly question will be entered into a drawing to win a Legacy Collection DVD (1974-1999) of their choice. Fans may only win once during the DCI Vault trivia challenge. Trivia questions will be posted online March 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14, 21. And if this contest isn’t enough to whet your legacy appetite, stay glued to DCI.org during the weeks of the DCI Vault trivia challenge for an additional Classic Countdown-related giveaway of epic proportions. JTE
Does anyone know what to expect for ticket prices? Was it general admit last year or is it different from theater to theater?
