yabetterbelieveit
What has been the best and most effective ballad of the 00's thus far? I really like Moondance, as well as Dancer in The Dark, and Summertime. edit: Earning morning misspelling. Hey, it was 6:30am! Iplaytimpani
I have to agree that my favorite has been BOTH renditions of Dancer in the Dark. I prefer to listen to 'Coats a little more, but Cadets was even closer to the original and both were amazing!
Tone Quality Matters
Crown 05' -- Arms of the angel -- some of the most exposed playing I have ever seen on the field. A fantastic drum corps momment. Boston 00' Cavies 04' Phantom 02'

pags
I'd go with: 1. SCV 2000 & Cadets 2005 (both start so soft and build to an amazing power) 2. BD 2003 (when the soloist hits that high note followed shortly by the fmeale guard rushing through the corps to the male guard...great stuff) 3. Cavaliers 2002 (incredibles blend and very chordal, which I liked..the last note they held and the release were perfect)
