gottalovit
Regardless of division, I was wondering which corps we have lost in the last decade, and how many new corps we have seen develop or corps retake the field I know of the following corps we have lost Emerald Knights/Nite Express Les Etoiles Patriots Velvet Knights Magic of Orlando(luckily they also came back) Bandettes(hopefully they are coming back this year) Troopers(hopefully they will only be off for one year) Tarheel Sun Academie Musicale General Butler Vagabonds Phantom Legion Luckily we have added or regained Memphis Sound Capital Regiment Magic of Orlando Impulse Bandettes(looks like they are fielding this year-with a few changes?) Can we say we really lost Tampa Bay Thunder? I mean they just merged with Kiwanis so I dont know if that is considered losing them.

ambassadorhorn
How do you define lost in this context? If you include Bandettes that suggests you mean "lost" to competitive drum corps as they continue as a parade corps. Is your criteria competitive junior corps that have competed in DCI championships since its inception (1996-2006) that now no longer compete in DCI? That would be something we could look up on corpsreps.com. bluecoats88
also lost:Tampa Bay Thunder Court of Honor Scenic City Volunteers Star of Indiana Mauraders Freelancers etc..etc.. You can't include Star and marauders in this list since he said since 1996. Also did freelancers make it to 1996?
