DMCK
Edward F. Morlot Sr, former director of the New Rochelle Wanderers and past president of the Northeast Circuit during the 1960's, passed away on March 29th, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Ed Morlot's son is Jay Morlot, director of the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps. On behalf of the Bushwackers and the entire drum corps community, I offer Jay and his family my heartfelt condolences. May God bless his soul, and may you and your family find peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering on earth, but rather watching over all of us from above. hurcwave
My condolences to Jay and his Family. How ironic that our Dad's, both fierce competitors and friends during their NorthEast Circuit days of the 60's, with the Wanderers and Vagabonds, respectively, would pass within a few weeks of each other. Jay and I had some discussions over the years about how we both kind of "mirrored" our Dad's in our drum corps lives. My families prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Again, my Sincerest condolences to the Morlot and Bushwackers families  Edited March 30, 2006 by hurcwave
