Andy Bob taught Classics in 78 & 79. Brought alot of his fellow NJ people in to help and get the Corps back up to where they were a few years before.

Corps were in exhibition at their own shows up till about late 70's. I remember getting a score in 78 at Hamden, but not before Think Wes announced most BIG shows up thru mid- 70's for DCA Champs (Rochester), still remember him at barnum in early 80's

Russo was DM in 1983. then went back to Cabs in 84. We played some of the 1982 show that year, but added Hallelujah Chorus to the mix..and different closer 1984 George Maloney and I took over as DM, and new staff, Music was Great Gates, Gumby Cats, Rhapsody and Hang em high Picture is Frank Dorritie!! He helped us regroup after an almost disastrous winter.. He was a great asset to the rebuild and reboot of the Hurricanes and will be forever grateful!

Gulf Coast made trips to Atlanta and Orlando for a period and hosted a DCA South show . Stars made an appearance at one Atlanta show when Brent was Director Unfortunately for a couple of them it wasn't the economy or membership or travel that caused them to cease at this time... I will just leave it at that ! GuldfCoast tried and is still trying to revive, under a different name and mgment!

Those doing the Md parades...Sun Devils, Shenandoah Sound, Tampa Bay Thunder, Fusion Core, ... I think Carolina Gold and Windsor Regiment may also..(don't quote) Bucs usually does these parades as well as Kingsmen.... great money.. sometimes too hot.. sometimes too long.. But the crowds in these parades rank right up there with the Bristol RI crowds ..makes up for it.. Remember..the parade ends right around that corner !!!
