RickyRicardo
84 Garfield was not only the best WSS ever, but the best drum corps show ever IMO. "What HE said"
freakyswotboy
I go for Garfield 84 but a mention for Madison 77 would'nt go amiss.
behold888
I wanted to dig up a relic with this post from 2006... Should make for an interesting topic now, if it doesn't get sucked into page 4 :)
AlanAndreasen
84 Garfield - and I couldn't make it over the pond to see it (had to buy a car that year). Then 87 Skyriders.
FrankA
I still don't think it gets any better than the final minutes of '84 Cadets.
MikeD
of course, that's debatable.....i dont consider it garfield's/cadets' best show ever.Ive have always been a big fan of their 85 production of Jeremiah Symphony as well as Appalachian Spring...Le Mis was incredible and their 95 show had to be one of the most entertaining ever. My own favorite Cadet show was 1997, the Sparke show, followed by 2005 and 84 WSS. THIS music, however, is wonderful, at least standing still in the concert hall at Montclair State U yesterday. I did not care for 94, so I some trepidation when I saw they were doing WSS again, but it's GREAT.
